    Great work with the values. It's hard to do with pastels. Good idea about taking a photo of them--that really puts things in perspective. Try and print out that photo and keep it with you to remind you of the values of each of those beautiful hues.

    Photographing the actual pastels in black and white is a FANTASTIC idea!
