Not only are we going to reap the benefits of all the tasty vegetables growing in our garden, but I am going to have fun sketching them before eating them!

Yummy and beautiful, and now you know how to sex those pesky blossoms too! I have one getting ready to pick, remember once they start to grow they grow fast!
Good for you for painting. Your squash blossom sings summer. I just cannot bring myself to paint right now. I am drawing in the figure drawing class, but other than that I seem to have a million outside projects that call to me. Summer is pretty short here, so in some ways it's now or never. Maybe your flower will inspire me.

I like the new look of your blog, Marta - very sleek and modern! I wish I'd had time to get down to socal to see you during my recent visit to the states; michel has promised to go with me again in October, so hopefull then we'll have time. This time nothing really went as planned.
