nicole looks beautiful. I know I'm being silly but I wish no one had to be ill or in pain especially little children.
Marta,
Really good! Aren't they fun pencils? I of course needed to read all of your commentary and remain so happy that there are wonderful Peds Heme-Onc nurses like you!
Marta,
I love the softness and delicate shading you've created with this medium.
What a beautiful and tragic job you have, dear Marta. Bless you for doing it.
This is a fantastic drawing - you've outdone yourself!
Precious and more precious and yet oh so tragic! What a tender rendering you've done Marta --the love shines thru ...

Your sketch manages to capture the beauty, sadness, hope and innocence of the accompanying story.
Wonderfully done.
Wonderfully done, Marta, so delicate and ethereal.
Marta -- this is really a beautiful portrait! And I'll vote with ujwala -- I wish no one had to be ill or in pain either, but I'm very glad there are people like you to help when illness happens!
Oh my gosh! What a beautiful child. Thank you for sharing the story about your inspiration for this sensitive drawing. I can't imagine what it would be like to care for sick kids as you do but thank goodness for multi-talented caring people like you. I'm sending good thoughts for Nicole and her family.
Marta, I love sketch book art and journaling...you are very good at it...I got to purchase another sketch book...I haven't done that for a while....Thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful! And I loved reading about her...sandy
Oh, my! What a beautiful portrait. I will have to give that graphite a try. I love the result. I admire you so much for the work you do. It must be very hard. It's hard enough seeing adults go through pain, but little children should be happy and worry-free.
