scrap wool socks, originally uploaded by mmvgonzales.

We don't wear shoes inside the house so I made these socks this week from scraps of worsted wool (alpaca and merino).  They are so soft and warm.  Just perfect for walking on the tile floor downstairs.  But you won't see these leaving the house....a bit too funky for being out in public!

    Oh they look SO comfy.

Now up here in Berkeley, you could wear them out even without shoes on and no one would bat an eye :)

Wonderful! They would be great for outside. I do have special booties for indoors.

Everyone take care. 3 seperate artist have had mishaps. One had a fight with a clay flower pot, 5 stitches where you glasses sit on your nose and tingling sensations in the arms and concussion.
Second one was stab in the foot by a pen, going down the stairs. Another artist, was burgled. yep, they stole their wine and a shop tool. Dogs alerted them. All the this week.

I am finishing my socks and will post soon.

But what's wrong with being funky Marta? You're an artist after all.
