Yesterday I treated my friends Diane and Dawn to a day at the Huntington Library and Gardens. I made reservations for High Tea to end our day. This was my Christmas gift to my good friends.
We paused during our wandering to enjoy the Zen Garden and sketch the Ginkgo trees.

That sounds like a marvelous Christmas gift. Not only do they get to see a great place, but they get to share your friendship and converstation. Lovely job on the ginkgo tree. I love the yellow of their leaves.
Ah, flowers and sunshine. Your sketch radiates sunshine.
Marta I Hope the Holiday Season is coming along great. Hope to get the recipe for those tamales this year. Want to Surprise my Son. My other Son is home and stateside for awhile. Love your sketch. Have not seen a live Ginkgo in 10 years. Do not think they like Cold Weather and cold weather has settled into the Northeast.
