The next big ticket item in my basket is school. I sometimes feel like I took on too much here. Attending a college class involves homework, research papers and projects!!! I am learning so much even if I do feel overwhelmed. I have one week to complete 3 master studies, a group research project on German Expressionism....go ahead, ask me anything about it, I have it all up here (pointing to head), and a paper on an artist of my choice: Kathe Kollwitz. Learning is fun and I know once all is complete I will be very proud of my accomplishments.
This week in figure class we are doing portraits. I so loved this! I am happy with the three portraits done this week. The young lady liked it so much she asked if I would sell her the portrait I did of her. It pleased me that she liked it and wanted it. It was so much fun to do them all from life!

Marta,
These are just fabulous - WOW - school may be lots of work but it looks amazing from the work you are doing. So sorry about the other yuch stuff going on. Her is a big hug from NYC!
Fantastic work Marta you are so talented!! I do not know how you have done so much lately - you are Super Woman, menopause or not!
Marta these are FANTASTIC!
On a personal level, I'm so pleased to hear things are starting to turn a corner for you. You spread happy thoughts that create a smile everytime I think of you...that's pretty amazing from such a distance. So, in return, I hope you can feel the comfort (hug) I'm sending your way. Reach for it as and when you need it, there is time limit between friends.
wonderful wonderful portraits!!!!!!!
Brava, Marta these portraits are indeed wonderful! The rest I saved for an email.
