I was looking forward to this week's drawing challenge from Wet Canvas. I spent more time on it than I thought I would but was very happy with the result.

    I can see why you're happy with this - it's lovely. There's a lot of movement and life in it, and the composition is very successful.

    love this product! i can see exactly why you feel happy w/ it. it just seems to draw the viewer in to figure out the tangles and direction of all those branches! great job!!

    i like the loose line, the color tones and the spontaneity and freshness of this drawing, all in all a great outdoors scene. very nice! look forward to seeing more.

    Casey: Thank you. I think my pen/brush were working with my brain for this sketch.

    Jill: This was a great photo to begin with. I am enjoying these challenges. I peeked at your blog...I love portriture and admire the young boy...that's a difficult pose!
