Well here is the second rendition. I think this one works better for the toy series. I'll wait before cropping the first painting. Who knows, I may have two good paintings or two duds. For now, they are fun to do and I'm having fun with the colors!

No duds here! I also prefer this one, but you'll have to keep them both. Maybe you can really really crop the previous one. Take one section and really crop only that? the colors are so magnificent, it will look great.

Yes, I like this one even better - the shapes are more interesting when they take up most of the picture space. In the first one I found the backgrund slightly distracting. Glad you stuck to the same basic colors thought.
I agree, Marta - the colours are beautiful together. If you darkened the shadows a tad you would probably find they will pop even more. Nice objects to paint.
thank you all. I still haven't chopped up the other! I guess I worked wet into wet in places...sometimes this is all mindless and I don't pay attention. LOL.
