watercolor palettes, originally uploaded by mmvgonzales.

I'm getting ready to begin making some new sketchbooks for my upcoming trip to europe and so I've started to think about travel art supplies. This is my assortment of watercolor paint boxes/palettes.

If you click on the photo it will take you to Flickr where I've added notes to the individual palettes.

I LOVE seeing what other folks work with -- these look so functional and great!

Love your painting and your profile, so honest!
I travel alot for work and am getting good at packing for travel. Need more work on my watercolor technique but travel is a great way to get it.

Wonderful collection of palettes! I've collected more palettes than I need, but they're just so fascinating. Good luck on choosing the one to take. Personally I'd go for the smallest so it would be convenient to paint anywhere. Also, consider which would be easiest/least-expensive to replace if lost or stolen during your trip.
    Have a fantastic trip!
