These are very interesting sketches. I like the second one where you got right to the essence of the figure.
Hope your nervousness led to a great class.
Looks like I'm going to have to get a Lamy pen.... I don't especially feel excited about the Moleskin business. I'm very happy with my $5.99 from the drugstore sketchbook!
Nice and loose sketches, Marta!
I particularly love this second sketch, Marta. Your pen work has a lovely style and the wash is perfect. I still don't have a Lamy pen! Sigh.
Much envy also about your figure drawing class - and don't forget mature age students are always the favourites of the teacher. Have a wonderful time and please post everything for us to enjoy.
These are great sketches. Have fun with class. Don't worry about your age / your classmates' youth. I find older students are willing to work harder and find more depth in what they learn and apply. Let us know how that goes.
Love that Lamy pen. Enjoy! Your art classes.

Great sketches! I like the rich warm colors and all the texture. Good start is right!
These are great, Marta! Very spontaneous and loose - keep 'em coming...
Excellent start!
I can't believe you would be nervous about anything marta!
great sketches Marta. (how wierd, thought I had already commented on this awhile back.
always like coming here to see what you're doing.

I really like these loose sketches a lot. And you have my empathy regarding the classes....I went back to school at age 35 or so to complete work on my BS degree and remember being TERRIFIED the first week.
Enjoy your creative blog!
