arches hot press 90# watercolor paper in rebound sketchbook
another quick sketch from my rebound sketchbook which only after a month of use is quickly becoming my constant companion.
Since my studio walls are full; I need a place to thumbtack my thoughts, sketches, photos....whatever.

Marta,
I LOVE this sketch - it is so whimsical and beautifully colored! I'd be interested to know what inspired two such different techniques from your day at the lavendar farm.
Oooh - I like this one too!
Oh Marta these are just gorgeous, the lavender is 'foggy' just as it should be - Here it is humid so my paper would Never dry ou ;-)
Guess that is why I cannot grow lavendar, it likes dry heat?
This is a lovely sketch...it is very light and airy, but I do get the impression of heat. I slo like the wagon in the path...it gives beautiful character and interest.
Ronell.
